In February 28, 2019, JICA Alumni association of Armenia has organized annual meeting in the Hotel “Hyatt Place”. During the annual meeting there was discussion about JAAA activities and presentations on Mini-grant projects during the FY 2018.

Since 2015, JICA has been successfully implementing "Mini-Grant Projects" program. The main objective is to encourage JICA alumni members further proffesional activities. in 2018 FY we selected 4 winners for Mini-Grant in Armenia. Hope each project result will help peaple and societies in Amrnia.

H.E. Mr.Jun YAMADA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Armenia
The Ambassador greeted all participants and expressed his sincere joy at the opportunity.
After accepting the post of ambassador to Armenia in May last year, there were drastic political changes in Armenia and Armenia is now changing every day. And Japan is willing and ready to help Amrnia in this process. In this context, the Ambassador noted the importance of the activities of JICA. He expressed a desire for close communication with JICA Alumni member and said that he would like to organize an event at the ambassador’s residence next time.

At the end there were questions about the procedure, deadlines and other details regarding the submission of documents for the mini-grant projects.
