On July 7, 2017, JICA Uzbekistan Office team headed by
Senior Representative Mr. ASAMI Eiji conducted Workshop on JICA Knowledge
Co-Creation Training Program in Yerevan. Officials, key persons from partner
organisations and line ministries took part at the Workshop, the objective of
which was providing clarifications on the Training in Japan (Knowledge
Co-Creation Program) with regards to its process and requirements in order to
have smooth collaboration with partner organizations and the most fruitful
training results as well, as presentation the results of JICA “Mini Grant
Projects” successfully implemented in Armenia, Georgia and Uzbekistan during
last two years.
The Workshop was opened with the welcome speech of Mr. ASAMI
Eiji, Senior Representative of JICA Uzbekistan Office, where he stressed the
importance of human resource development and the importance of cooperation in
the framework of the KCC Program in this context.
Ms. Ruzan Khojikyan, Program Coordinator for Armenia made brief presentation on past and current JICA activities as well, as five JICA
“Mini Grant Projects”, which were implemented in Armenia during last two years.

Two winners of the “Mini Grant Project” in 2016, Ms. Marina Vardanyan, Expert
chief specialist of Standing Committee on Science, Education Culture, Youth and
Sport at Armenian Parliament, and Mr. Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Instructor in
Population Protection and Disaster Consequences Elimination Department of
Rescue Service also attended the workshop and presented the implemented
projects.
Mr.Farhod Kurbonov, Program Officer, JICA Uzbekistan Office
had made comprehensive presentations on JICA “Mini Grant Projects” successfully
implemented in Georgia and Uzbekistan during last two years.
At the end of the Workshop, during the questions and answers
time, the participants clarified several issues, as well as shared their
impressions on the Workshop stressing its importance.
