Purpose of the
workshop: to clarify the Training in Japan (Knowledge Co-Creation Program)
with its process and requirement. To make smooth collaboration with partner
organizations in order to get more fruitful results from trainings.
10:00- Introduction of JICA delegation and
self-introduction of all participants of Workshop
10:05-Welcome Speech by Chief Representative JICA
Uzbekistan Office, Mr. Katsutoshi FUSHIMI thanked all for participation. Mr.
Fushimi highlighted the importance of human resource development and in this
context, JICA’s Bilateral cooperation using KCC Program. Mr. Fushimi also
mentioned, that in 2015 JFY for Armenia there were allocated 26 seats for
training, but Armenia used only 19 seats, which means, that 6 seats Armenia has
lost. This kind of seminar is important and helps to use fully opportunity in
future.

10:10- Ruzan made a presentation on “JICA Activities in
Armenia”, explained also the JICA ODA scheme. After the presentation Ruzan
answered to a question, what is the difference between Bilateral and
Multilateral Cooperation?

Farhod KURBONOV made a presentation on
Scheme of the Training in Japan
10:50- Discussion
The hottest discussion was around Long-list and Short
list. Representative from each line ministry mentioned, that they never seen
that lists, and that’s a problem, because then the notification about the
training comes, in some cases, their organization do not need that theme, or
because of the language they cannot find a suitable candidate. They don’t know
what kind of trainings they are going to attend during each FY, which means
only MoFA is choosing trainings for all Ministries. They asked to give them an
opportunity to choose their desired course for next FY.
Representatives of MoFA, Ms. Masha Hakobjanyan and Ms.
Gayane Manukyan assured that will send lists to all line ministries in order to
give them an opportunity to select the necessary trainings for each sphere.
11:00- Mr. Farhod KURBONOV made a presentation regarding
Mini – Grant’ project.

Who can apply?
What kind of projects can be implemented?
Is it required the project should be on a topic the
ex-participant has studied in Japan?

attach an official letter)?
