By this project we have reconstructed and improved energy efficiency of the Center.
More We replaced the flooring by New laminate and skirting board (46 m2), repaird the ceiling and walls using drywalls and paints (130 m2).
After renovation works, we have replaced the old fluorescent lamps with new laboratory tested energy saving LED lamps (16 pieces A60 10VR27).
Our next step was heating system, we provided 2 space heaters with high energy saving technical characteristic, this gave children an opportunity to attend the classes even in cold weather. Besides the above-mentioned measures, we have also installed new glass door, wash-hand stand and solar water heater.
Heat Insulation measures and solar water heater installation will result to cost reduction and will motivate other residents of Kori and nearby villages to use renewable energy sources. However, by implementing this project we aimed to provide minimal comfort conditions, improve energy efficiency of the Center, which would give children self-confidence and enable them to fully participate in the classes.
