Name of project: “Energy Efficiency Improvement of Kindergarten in Koti village, Tavush region” Within the framework of "Mini Grant Project" Program for 2019 an Energy Efficiency Improvement of Kidergarten in Koti, Tavush region of Armenia has been carried out. By this project we implemented reconstruction and renovation activities, particularly we replaced damaged roof panels with new ones (95 sq.m), increased heat resistance of the building through installation of special energy efficient heat-resistant shell on the windows (29.2 sq.m) , which besides its main destination has an armor-piercing effect and protects the kindergarten from splinters, Replaced fluorescent lamps with new laboratory tasted LED lamps (150 pcs. A60 12 W E27), as well as one installed solar water heater.

More Beside improving energy efficiency, another very important goal was reached by the implementation of the current project, i.e. provision of better conditions for children and better working conditions for the specialists of the kindergarten, and thus further motivation for their work. As well as encouraging kindergartens, schools and other education centers in isolated regional communities for installation of energy efficiency mechanisms in their buildings. The implemented energy efficiency measures will certainly bring to utility costs reduction as well.
