"Mini-Grant"
is a new JICA training follow-up scheme which supports ex-participants of JICA
training program (KCCP) to realize their activities aiming at contributing to
socio-economic development of Armenia by using the knowledge and experience of
Japan.

Starting from 2015 FY, JICA Alumni Association in Armenia has been successfully implementing “Mini Grant Projects” program, which has been effective to promote further interaction with ex-participants. This program is open to all ex-participants of JICA training courses and every ex-participant has a chance to apply for this program every year.
The main goal of this program is to encourage JICA alumni members’ further professional activities based on their experiences in JICA training courses in Japan and share their knowledge with other people.
Alumni members often need additional and continuous supports in order to carry out their acquired knowledge’s into practice, thus the captioned program gives a wonderful opportunity which also bring to strengthening relationships between governmental agencies and JICA in various spheres.
The main focus areas of “Mini Grant
Projects” Program are as below:
1) Economic development (economic policy,
finance, development of small business and entrepreneurship etc.)
2) Agriculture, Environment and Regional
Development
3) Improving the social sector (education,
health, gender analysis, support for people with disabilities etc.)
4) Environment, Renewable energy and
Disaster Risk Reduction
